Water Treatment Service Technicians 

To undertake monitoring of building water services as part of a Legionella Control Programme in order to comply with  HSC ACoP L8 & BSRIA guildelines

Works will include

• Flushing
• Temperature monitoring
• Shower head cleaning & disinfection’s
• Tank & hot water storage vessels inspections
• Collection of water samples
• Closed system testing & dosing
• TMV servicing
• Tank cleaning & disinfection’s
• Disinfection (via injection)

Essential skills

1. To demonstrate previous experience in a Water Hygiene Technician role.
2. To demonstrate ability to work alone in a multi site capacity.
3. To demonstrate excellent working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSC ACoP L8, Water Regulations).
4. To be able to record and provide accurate documentation that may include recommendations for all works undertaken.
5. To be able to carry out analysis and chemical treatment of closed water systems.
6. To be prepared to travel and cover weekend/night working when required.
7. A full driver’s license.
