Sales Opportunities

We are currently on a recruitment drive for Account Managers & New Business Developers to cover a South East territory.

Ph Water & Air Technologies are ideally placed to develop bespoke solutions for organisations across a range of sectors to ensure they meet health and safety requirements and comply with UK legislation on the control of Legionella.

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the growth of the business within both existing accounts and new business generation. They should have a good technical understanding and a proven track record in the Industry. They will also require a full UK driving license, possess good communication skills and be highly motivated.

Installation Engineer

To be considered for this role you would have to be a time served tradesman with at least 6 years on site commercial experience who is skilled with copper, steel & plastics pipe work.
Works will involve but are not limited to;

New install
Cwst remedial
Dead leg removal
Tmv install & servicing
Softener Install
Water heater install
Working on existing systems
Call out repair
Calorifier Inspection works – Desirable
Clean and chlorination works – Desirable

This is a client facing role so a smart appearance is a must, coupled with strong English language & writing skills as reports are to be completed for each job.

A team attitude is a must as works are often in pairs, but you must also display an ability to make informed decisions coupled with self discipline when lone working.

Potential candidates must be willing to travel, having no more than 3 points on their driving licence, a company vehicle will be supplied along with expenses float to pay for work related expenses, out of hours working will also be necessary when required.

Water Hygiene Engineer/Service Technician(s)

We have opportunities available for Water Treatment Engineers/Service Technicians. Applicants must be willing to work weekends when required and be fully conversant with HSG274/ACOP L8 guidelines.

Duties will include:

  • Temperature monitoring of tap outlets and tanks/cylinders
  • Activation of outlets
  • Cleaning and disinfection of shower heads
  • Visual inspections of water systems
  • Inspection and servicing of thermostatic mixer valves
  • General plumbing-related tasks
  • Water sampling
  • Analysis of closed systems using a site test kit
  • Chemical dosing
  • Descaling & internal inspections of water heaters
  • Cleaning & disinfections of pipework systems, cold water storage tanks and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011.

You will need:

  • Experience to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and technical ability
  • A positive attitude & enthusiasm about the company and the job role
  • Experience at working unsupervised & overcoming challenges to get the job done
  • The ability to discuss technical issues with confidence and accurately record detailed engineer’s reports and log books
  • Capable of physical work, lifting, carrying and climbing
  • The ideal candidate would have some plumbing experience.
  • Full UK driving license

Pre Commission Cleaning, Flushing & Chemical Cleaning Manager

The right candidate must have extensive understanding of current required legislation including BG29/2012, BG50/2013 and other relevant guidelines. Previous experience of running, supervising or managing pre commission cleaning projects is also a requirement.

Duties will include:

  • Labour placement & management
  • Project management
  • Technical support to clients and company employees
  • Attendance at project meetings
  • Surveying new works
  • Attendance at pre sales meetings
  • Client liaison
  • Control of department budget
  • Management of diary to ensure smooth running of all daily activities associated with the departmental role.
  • Audits of personnel and site works
  • Assisting with quotations and estimates
  • Trouble shooting & problem solving
  • Assistance with RAMS

The position is designed to ensure the manager is at site level with a small amount of time spent at the office.
